Merchants using Shopify will pay for Feed Donkey on a monthly SaaS (software as a service) basis through a Shopify App Store recurring charge. Feed Donkey has created Locally inventory feed templates that you can share with us via URL. The inventory feed will update every 24 hours by default. More frequent updates are available for purchase.
When you have created your inventory feed URL, send the URL to us at support@locally.com and we will get your inventory feed connected.
We are excited to offer an automated inventory connection with Shopify using the Data Export app! Please follow the instructions below to get set up.
Data Export is a paid service. Learn more about Data Export here. You can follow their instructions to use their pre-created Locally inventory report and set up the automated export to be emailed to Locally on a daily or hourly basis. *It is important to note that when sending your files, they must be in one of the following formats: .csv, .xls, .xlsx, or .txt. Please refrain from sending link or Zip files as our system is unable to process them.
You have the freedom to choose whether you'd like to create one report and include all stores' inventory in it using Data Export's Location field or if you'd like to send one file for each store. Just let support@locally.com know which option you chose when your file gets sent to us.
Data Export reports should be sent via email. Every store location in our system has a unique email address assigned that inventory files can be sent to. You can find your stores' unique email addresses in your Locally account under "Email Method" here.
Data Export has around the clock chat support on their app during weekdays, so feel free reach out to their support team with any questions as you create your inventory report. Once you have completed setting up your report, reach out to us at support@locally.com to let us know that your inventory has been sent. That way we can get your inventory files connected to your stores correctly in our system.
